The Chuck Lords directed video, Power, is a solid title from Vivid. As the title suggests, it’s about Savanna’s power over the opposite sex! The plot-based vignettes were for the most part engaging without any confusion except for the last scenario. In addition, the performances by Savanna and Kelly Wells were good. The question is whether this video is worth an upgrade to Blu-ray and it’s a resounding YES!

The video is presented in widescreen Full 1080 HD and is encoded in VC-1 with an average bitrate of 15 Mbps although the lower limit fell to 10 while the upper limit was 21 Mbps. Meanwhile, the audio is encoded in Dolby Digital 2.0 at 192 Kbps. Visually speaking, the lighting was not consistent resulting in inaccurate fleshtones in the scenes with poor lighting. However, when the lighting was adequate, the fleshtones and contrast were on-the-spot. There were no distortions with the audio and all the dialogue and sex sounds were clear. The only nagging spot was due to the unstable strip pole that made that “kling klang” sound throughout the sex in scene one. Furthermore, the music was interesting to say the least and it definitely was inspired by the Grand Theft Auto IV introduction music.
The extras include trailers, a good photo gallery, a ~9 minute BTS, and two HD bonus sex scenes from Milfwood U.S.A. and Shooting Savanna, which are coincidentally the last scenes, respectively. I would have to say that the Milfwood U.S.A. scene is slightly better since it’s a threesome. Furthermore, the BTS is at best average with most of the time having small talk with Holly West. Thankfully, Vivid has improved the photogallery using the entire screen real estate and using the Ken Burns effect of panning and zooming in and out. The GTAIV-inspired music accompanies the slideshow.
